Apparition

Apparition

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

Apparition

I stumbled from my room last night

Swore I saw you lying on your bed

Had to shake myself awake

Hit me like an earthquake

 Your ghost is haunting me

Doesn't seem that long ago

You were here with me

Just talking like we use to do

Now I only see you in my dreams

But tonight I swear I saw you here

I felt your presence very clear

Stumbled from my room last night

Swore I saw you lying on your bed

Had to shake myself awake

Hit me like an earthquake

Your ghost is haunting me

I like this poem. It has some meaning. I like how you added the,
"Stumbled from my room last night
Swore I saw you lying on your bed
Had to shake myself awake
Hit me like an earthquake
Your ghost is haunting me",
twice. I think that it gives it more affect.
