The Songwriter

The Songwriter

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

The Songwriter

She plays a mean guitar

She sings the songs from in her heart

As the audience sings along

She's the songwriter

A poet with her words

The music plays in her head

Whether she's up on the stage

Or just lying in her bed

She can croon out a melody

A number one specialty

She can make you smile

Or bring a tear to your eye

Serenade you with romance

Or bid you to dance

She's the songwriter

She plays a mean guitar

This is really fabulous!!!
The title intrigued me when it came up on my page as newly added; I just had to check it out and I was not at all let down :D
Loved the clean ending- it truly made the poem superb!
