The Country ConnectionA Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa(please don't drink and drive)
The Country Connection
Just an old neighborhood nightclub A place to meet old friends and new Nice to relax and have a drink or two Listen to the band play on the weekends Sing karoke during the week Whatever your pleasure Dancing was mine I love to dance You can make such sweet romance Swirling across the wooden dancefloor We had such fun Arm in arm Your hand touching my waist Our footsteps in time to the music Listening to our favorite tunes Under a neon moon Reflections of you and I At the Country Connection
