She Walked Away

She Walked Away

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

She walked away

Left her treasures behind

No looking back

Left them for someone else to find

Maybe somebody

Will have better luck than she did

With her worldly possessions

Midnight confessions

Written in poetic journals

She walked away

Left her treasures behind

No looking back

Left them for someone else to find

Maybe somebody

Will read them one day

Take heed

To what her words had to say

She walked away

Left her treasures behind

No looking back

Left them for someone else to find

Maybe somebody

Will have better luck than she did

With her worldly possessions

Midnight Confessions

Written in poetic journals

I like this one. I often feel this way and wonder if anyone would even take the time to read my entries. I like to do that leave it all behind even the memories. Very good write.

Sometimes it takes someone looking in from a fresh perspective to understand... to write your feelings out is a great way to release them, just wonder who will read them when your gone... a very touching write.

Sad, but from your past I can understand that feeling as I too walked in those shoes..In the first line you need to edit treasures...take the last r out..I can feel what you were saying..Hard to not just walk awy..only our minds go with us..God bless..valentine
