You Inspired This One.

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa
"

(please don't drink and drive, help keep each other safe and alive)

"

You came into my life at a time when I needed someone

I remember the quivver of life in my belly

The morning sickness and dry heaves

Once when I was carrying you inside of me

I fell down and skinned my knees

I was so afraid for you

I surely did not want to lose you

You gave me a reason to live

At a time in my life when I had no one

You stirred life in me

Nine months of preparation

Nine months of anticipation

Awaiting your arrival

Finally you came to me in the most natural way

I held you in my arms for the very first time

Kissed you on your cute little pug nose

Counted all of your tiny fingers and toes

You know I loved you from the first moment

That you were conceived

The most beautiful part of me is you

You are my greatest blessing from above

God's miracle in my life

He gave you to me as a gift to take care of

Until you are able to take care of yourself

The years they passed by

You grew from boyhood to manhood

Seems like it happened over night

As I look back I can recall

Your laughter, your smiles and even your frowns

The way you use to clown around

Pester your younger sisters when I wasn't looking

Share long walks and talking with me

Sitting and sharing a cup of hot tea

Little things that mean so very much to me

You were such a good boy and a fine young man

I am honored to be your mother

Dearest Bobby

Dedicated to my son Robert Stephen Krempa 7/31/73 to 4/15/07

Unfortunately killed by a drunk driver

At the age of 33

This is so beautiful and touching Debileah. You've expressed so well the love of a mother, and the sorrow. I am so truly sorry for your loss. Yes, a gift from God... that's what our children are. I pray for your peace in knowing that you haven't lost your son, for he remains in your heart and is with God --you will see him again.

God Bless You.

Dearest Debileah!
How touching is your precious write filled with memories of him, while yet in your womb, then into life, and family, and coming into his own.....all to be taken so tragically by a drunk driver!! How sad, how tragic, how difficult to understand, much less to accept.
I am truly sorry for your loss, and I thank you for sharing this intimate write about him! We have the loss of a son in common...a bond that I would rather not share because of our losses, but I know that I shall value your friendship!
May God give you comfort!!
Hugs, Sheila

very tragic.. alcohol is nothing but poison and should be illegal in my opinion. It breeds addiction, does nothing but kill... kills those who drink it.. kills innocent people who get in it's path. The only reason it is still out there is the all mighty dollar... discusting.

This is so beautifully written. A truly touching tribute to your son, who's eyes tell so much of the man he was.

Very touching memorial to someone cut down so soon in life. You carry his memory forever and you let us get to know him as well, so he will in fact, live on past any of us, for we will also pass on the tales and love you had for your sone. A great write!

Blessings to you. Such a loving Mother's ode. I can certainly relate to every detail you describe in carrying and cherishing each moment with your son as I have a young one myself. It is treachery that took your son's life however, I am thankful to see such beautiful words that must help in your healing process. Thank you so much for sharing such an endearing thing. God Bless You and your family.
Love and Light,
Siddartha

That is a wonderfully written poem that touches your heart. I am soo sorry about your loss. I lost two friends to drunk driving. It affected our whole school. So, we started a MADD. I still miss my friend Hillary. She was so sweet. She shouldn't have died that way. No one should.

This is a wonderful write but horrible thing any mother will face but the sad thing so many mothers will weather its because of their kids or someone else's Thank you so much for sharing this piece i am going to make my 12 year old who thinks she is 21 read this because it paints the perfect picture of the pain a mother goes through.

I'm at loss of words...you have me all choked up.

This was beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I can't even think straight...

All I can say is I'll be praying for you my dear friend and that you find peace with the fact that your son will be found in heaven waiting for his adoring mother.

Always,
-Aurelia Mirella
