It's Midnight Cinderella

It's Midnight Cinderella

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

It's Midnight Cinderella

It's midnight Cinderella

Time to take off your makeup

'Slip into a robe and slippers

Make believe that he's dancing with you

In your night time

Dreams

No longer a flower on the wall

It's midnight Cinderella

Go to him and tell him

How you feel about him

Tonight in your dreams

Cinderella don't cry

I know how it hurts to see him with her

Night after night in reality

Don't you know

Everybody hurts sometimes

Reach out and hold him

Ever so tight in your dreams

Let him know how you feel tonight

Living in your fantasy world

All alone

A surprised ending. Unrequited love once again...seems to be my fairy tale life as well. Great Job! P.W.

Oh such a chilling ending. An unrequitted love it seems. Very well portrayed. Gave me shivers. Well done.
Thank you for sharing your talent.
