As A Poet

As A Poet

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

As a poet

I see the world

As though it were a crystal ball

From shades of black and white

Ink on paper

In my hand I hold my pen

A powerful tool

Magicly I write with it

Spilling forth my artistry

As rainbows of color come alive

With eloquent flowing words

From shades of black and white

Rainbows appear

Out of nowhere

As a poet

I see the world

As though it were a crystal ball

And thank God everyday for your poetic gift by writing more and more of your good poems! I suspect This is the kind of thanks God most enjoys.
