AustinA Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa(please don't drink and drive) (have a safe holiday)
Austin
There's a star shining Over Austin tonight My son moved to Austin He made it his home Times got rough He ran out of work Couldn't afford to pay the bills So headed back up north To the place where he was born Only to die Only God knows why Bad things happen to good people A drunk driver Took his life away
Bobby wanted to be A Science Teacher He wanted to teach children So they could reach out and touch the stars I don't know why he had to die He had so much more to give to the world Bobby was a kind and generous soul
Look!
There's a star shining Over Austin tonight
