Falling In Love

 

F alling in love again is so scary

A broken heart needs time to mend

L ike a sore that needs to heal

L et me feel unafraid to take the next step

I  long to love again

N ot to be hurting so deeply inside

G ot to let go of these fears

 

I  feel like

N obody cares

 

L ove is something I lack in my life

O ften I find myself in tears for all the wasted years

V enture forward one day at a time until I find a lover who is gentle and kind

E nchanted and charmed I shall be when I fall in love again

def a good job. i like the avatar too. nice acrostic poem. i'm not really into following a format when writing, i jsut want it to capture all the plethora of ideas swirling around in my head. ha ha. but i like this poem you wrote here. i wonder the exact same thing, "when will i ever fall in love again?"

So very true... love can be hard to do when a jaded past keeps you in fear and you take out what someone in the past has done out on your present love, making it hard for the relationship to survive... another well articulated arcoustic

I like this poem its good, and reminded me of the one that I actually had feelings for back in high school like my senior year, and he was a jerk who just ripped my heart out. But now I actually have somebody who holds it now, and I'm glad and he is nice and gentle. Your poem just reminded me of that, and I like poems that make me think about my life and relate it to the writing. Good Job!
