T hese are the tears of a sad and lonely clown

E veryone knows one

A  sad lonely clown wearing a frown

R emove my make-up

S mile for me

 

O ften I find myself crying

F or no apparent reason

 

A  clown

 

C an make you

L augh

O r he can bring tears to your eyes

W hen the circus comes to town

N o one ever really sees the real me

I really liked this poem, and it expressed a feeling of well, feeling like a clown whenever your around someone. Plus, the title caught my eye. For about a month, I worked at a seasonal job at Valleyfair (event called Valleyscare) in a clown maze. :] So this brought back some memories as well.

i like it.i think the world as a people are all clowns so this is good.take off the make-up!!
