It's A Wonderful Life

It's A Wonderful Life

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

I  can hear the churchbells ringing

T he sound of Christmas is in the air

S hoppers are browsing the stores

A s never before

W inter has arrived as the snow covers the ground

O h, what a wonderful life

N ow is the season for giving rather than receiving

D elivering Christmas cards to friends

E xpressing love and kindness

R ekindling romance

F illing stockings with trinkets and candy

U letide blessings galore

L et it snow, let it snow, let it snow

L aughter from old Saint Nick

I  love to listen to Christmas carols sung by a choir

F ireplace warming up my chilly house

E mbers burning bright
