It all started with the letter she wrote Tossed it nonchalantly into the trash If weren't for the letter Her husband may have never found out She betrayed him with lipstick kisses On the backside of the envelope A letter to a lover she met on the sly Her husband came home early from work Hoping to surprize her with flowers and candy To his astonishment she was no where to be found Everything in the house was tidy and neat Except for a crumbled paper on the floor She must have missed the trash bin He reached down to pick it up As his world came crashing down It all started with the letter she wrote
