A Mother's Love Never Ends

A Mother's Love Never Ends

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

A mother's love never ends, endures forever

M y most precious memories are that of my children

O pening their eyes for the very first time

T he world must have been a very strange place

H olding them in my arms felt so wonderful

E ach child's birth was a bit different than the one that came before

R eaching out and grasping for a comforting hug

's o it was when my children were born

L ots of responsibility in raising a family but well worth the effort

O ften we make mistakes but we learn from our experiences

V ery much I love my children, each having their own individuality

E ach of them has taught me lessons and loved me unconditionally

N ever would I have dreamed one day I might lose one, it never

E ntered my mind that one day I would feel such a great loss

V ery much my heart aches for my only son, my first born child

E very day that goes by it hurts deeper than the day before

R ealizing that I don't have him here with me anymore

E ndless is love though, for love never dies

N eed to believe and have faith in those words

D esire in my heart for to hold him in heaven one day

S ay the words I love you my darling son, I shall always love you

Oh! This is so heart touching and beautiful.
There is nothing in this world more eternal than a mother's love!

My husband gave me an early Christmas present last week. A book title "The Mother's Book" published by Mrs. Child well before the Civil War. I only wish I had read it years ago. The advice is so amazing.

This was a lovely write. Blessings to you this holiday season.

It has been said that a mother's love transcends time, space and death. You capture that wonderfully here. Your loss wasa a sad one, tragic and senseless, yet there is no measure to your love!

Life can bring both great joy and great pain, and you have known them both. May you find peace and comfort in this season, knowing that a birth in Bethlehem brought life everlasting.

This is exquisite! It's a beautifully sensitive, wonderful piece of writing, and, an acrostic at that.

Your last lines are heart-breaking but, you're oh, so correct, love never, never dies. NEVER. And my dear, you have your very own guardian angel, your very own sparkling star ... your son will always send you blessings and, no matter the grey days, he'll always shine brightly for you.

(You)
