Christmas At Grandma Lorena's House

Christmas At Grandma Lorena's House

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

Christmas At Grandma Lorena's House

Lemon cake and gingerbread cookies

The smell of cinnamin and spice

Fresh baked pumpkin pie

Turkey stuffed with dressing

Cranberry sauce on the side

Christmas at Grandma Lorena's house

Choralers singing outside her window

Snow softly touching the ground

A decorated tree with an angel atop

Gifts wrapped in pretty paper

Glistening lights that glow

Christmas at Grandma Lorena's house

Waiting for St Nickolas to arrive

Warm and cozy is the atmosphere

What a wonderful time of year

Dreaming about kissing you

Underneath the mistletoe my dear

Nicely written. Has sugarplums dancing in my head. (smile) Makes me want to get up off this keyboard and go bake!
