Trudging On Through Writer's BlockA Poem by Deborah Leah KrempaAs I trudge on though writer's block once again A cold cup of coffee and a half empty pack of cigarettes Everyone else in the house is fast asleep As I sit here staring at a blank computer screen
Too many problems Too much on my mind tonight Too many worries No solutions
Haven't been writing at all lately Chicken scratch at best Beginning to think perhaps I may be getting senile
Or perhaps, the poet in me is dead I search for words I find none As time dances on
These are just my thoughts Words written to fill an empty page Feeling as though I have hit a brick wall As I trudge on through writer's block once again © 2008 Deborah Leah KrempaReviews
