Turning The Pages

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

Turning The Pages

T urning the pages of a favorite tome

U ndying love for literature deep in one's soul

R eading can take on such new and exciting adventures

N ever a dull moment as each chapter unfolds

I  love to read a good book whenever I get the chance

N ot able to put it down until I get to the journey's end
G ood books are great works of art

T hey are words woven into such wonderful masterpieces

H ard bound or soft, priceless is their existance

E very time I turn a page it unravels a mystery

P age after page, so much knowledge to be absorbed

A place to get away from the world and all of it's troubles

G ood books are like vacations

E ntertaining and enlightening

S o unique and fascinating to the mind

Fantastic flow to this work, well timed and written. This just flowed off the tongue as it was read aloud! Great work, masterful even!

An excellent acrostic! Many I see lack meter and meaning in a trade off to make it "fit."

Not this one, perfect!
