The Face Of The Homeless

The Face Of The Homeless

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

The Face Of The Homeless

THE face you don't want to see

FACE of the homeless afraid

OF the truth that it could be me

THE plight of a lost soul with no where to go

HOMELESS is something we don't want to believe exists

I'm afraid there are going to be a lot more of them before things get better. I just hope those who're able will lend a hand until better times arrive.
