Tears Of ImprisonmentA Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa
Tears Of Imprisonment
T ears of imprisonment E ndlessly flowing down my cheeks A re you never coming back to me R ed roses shed not their thorns S ilent is the night as I cry tears
O f imprisonment F or I am left in my grief
I cannot face the dawn M y eyes too swollen from crying over you P risoner of love R escued by no one I am lost in my own prison cell S o distraught in my thoughts of you O n this lonliest of nights feelings of being caged N o light at the end of this tunnel do I see M y heart is broken and bleeds for you as though cut with barbed wire E verywhere I turn my future is bleak N o one to resue me from these T ears of imprisonment © 2008 Deborah Leah KrempaReviews
