Why should I stay with a man

Who takes his hands

And turns them into fists

By his heroin

By Crack

Where there'd be no

Turning Back

But I chose not

To do as he did

I got out

And I

I ran with my life

No longer his wife

So learn a lesson

From me

Get out

I did and so can you
