A dozen long stem roses

I  love you was written on a

N ote from you as these roses were

D elivered at my door

R omantic evenings spent with you

O ut on your elegant patio

P retty red roses you sent to me

S o lovely a gesture on a warm summer day

 

A dozen red roses to charm me

N ote that read I love you

D arling I do love you too

 

R emember the raindrops that fell

O n this warm summer day

S o sweet of you to send me lovely roses

E nchanting and sweet a memory you made

S o in this way I shall always cherish raindrops, roses and you
