Reflections In The Mirror

Reflections In The Mirror

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

I dance for you no more as I fall so helplessly

Reflections in the mirror of washed up memories

Flooding my heart with such misery as I lie here

Upon this cold black and white marble floor

All I can hear now is the slamming of the door

You left me undeniably blue and utterly distraught

Feeling such shame that I can barely breathe at all

I dance for you no more as I fall so helplessly

Reflections in the mirror of washed up memories

This is good, maybe too descriptive with the floor, as the color would not matter. Love the work, the pic adds a great deal to this piece.

Your writing is taking a turn...very good! I really like the picture by the way. Thanks for asking me to read your piece. The only thing I don't like is you decribing the color of the tiled floor. That is evident...but I liked the poem alot. It has a fantasy feel to it. Good luck, Cheers to you, lea

You read into this picture so well. A point of view I would have missed altogether. Brilliant title, Brilliant insight.

"Reflections in the mirror of washed up memories.." That's a very powerful line and it says a lot. I love how some poems came seem like little stories; this would be one of them.
Very nice work, keep it up,
