Marble Kisses

Marble Kisses

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

I melt into you at the

The touch of your skin

Pressing against mine

The way we fit together

Your lips so devine

Marble Kisses

As we make love

Wrapped in each other's arm

Captivated by the moment

Feeling such passion as

I melt into you

You caught me by surprise on this one and came out of left field. Excellent work, very real and very well done!

Two people coming together in unity, the ultimate declaration of love!
The statue above again is a wonderful illustration of both the title and the content!
Very well written!

Again, I'm not a huge fan of love poetry....but this is really good. Very emotional and descriptive...another great poem by you. Cudos!!!!

When you melt into your lover, that's some very intense passion at work. Nice job, debileah.

Insane I know, but this reminds me of the characters in the vampire series I am reading. The author describes the male vampire as having a cold, hard marble body. It is a love story as well. Interesting mix in this poem. The hardness of marble or the cold indifferent type feeling a strong depth of passion. Which came first the picture or the poem? Was the picture your inspiration?
