I'll Be There For You

I'll Be There For You

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

I'll be there for you

That's what everybody said

At the funeral parlor

I'll be there for you

Now that he's gone

That's what they said

Well, It's been over a year

And I have yet to hear a word

From any one of them

These are the friends

That were there

To the bitter end

I wonder where they are now

Now that you're gone

As it seems I am left all alone

I'll be there for you

That's what everybody said

At the funeral parlor

Or if you need anything feel free to call. Keep your word to those in despair and greif people. This life is too short and the world is too small!

Awwww, this is so sad. I know just how that is. I am so sorry. I don't know why people do that. I was always told that, when you tell someone you will do something, you do everything within your power to keep your word.

I'm very sorry your friends let you down. Hopefully your internet friends are more reliable.
