E ven the angel's cry for you my darling son

V enture on toward heaven with your well earned wings

E ternal sleep ye shall not know for eternal life is the lord's gift to you

N ow and forever

 

T he angel's cried the day you died and so did I

H eartbroken in your passing from our dear mother earth

E ven the sun refused to shine

 

A mother's tears fell like raindrops on the ocean

N o one could wipe them dry as I cried for you

G od called you home

E ven the angel's cry for you my darling son

L ight the way for me for as it's hard to find my way through this grief

S hine down on me your love from the heaven's above

 

C rying sometimes it brings me comfort

R emembering the beauty that was you

Y ou were such a beautiful human being in every sense of the word

 

F or the world is a lonely place without you

O h but heaven is surely

R ejoicing my darling son for you have well earned your wings

 

Y ou know I love you

O h how deeply I do miss you

U ntil we meet again I shall find comfort in my shedding of tears
