Manic Disaster

Manic Disaster

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

Faster!

Faster!

Faster!

Never Fast Enough

I'm a manic disaster

Depression is an obsession

Illusions of grandeur

My own adventure

Spinning round

&

Round

Until

I

Come

Crashing

This is a great look into depression that so many suffer. The description is simple but powerful. Well done.

Very cool poem. You capture manic-depression so well with both the words and structure of the poem. It has such an appropriate rhythm that seems to deflate into the crashing down portion of the poem perfectly. Very fun read.

Clever write along with the format and structure. (Very cool that the words themselves form a spiral as well as the use of the Tazmanian Devil gif).

This is just too cute! I have a soft spot for poems that are shaped and the animation at the beginning is just classic!
