Where Do I Turn?

Where Do I Turn?

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

Brokenhearted and shattered now that you are gone.

My emotions seem as though they died with you.

I feel uncomfortable and dreadfully numb.

Inside my lonely room my tears fall like rain.

The pain tears away at the very soul of me.

Emptiness surrounds my very being.

As I try to find the meaning to all of this.

You were everything I ever wanted in this world.

What do I do now without you in my life?

Where do I turn but to the rain?

What do I now without you in my life? - should that be "do I do now" or "do I know"?

Such angst.

There's too much saddness in your life. The sun yet shines.
