B obby loved Gina a long time ago

L oved her with all of his heart and his soul

O f all the girls he ever met in all of his travels

S he was the one he never forgot and he missed her so

S he met him while he was stationed in Oka Nawa Japan

O riental Japanese girl promised to another to wed in family tradition

M y son loved her so very much it broke his heart to have to let her go

S ure wish I knew how to reach her to let her know his home is in heaven

I love how you made a story out of this poem, and you brought it full circle. It doesn't end in the middle of nowhere, but you make it really solid and real. It's bittersweet, like most of life.

What a sad love story. I find this story tragic. I know this is fact and that's what makes it even more sad. Nice write.

This is a very beautiful poem, with a lot of atmosphere brought with the photo used.

Oh my, that is so sad. I was stationed in Okinawa also. Perhaps it's better that she doesn't know.
