O nce upon a time

N eon lights did shine

C andles and red wine

E legantly set on a table for two

 

U p on the karaoke stage

P eople took turns singing harmoniously

O n the dance floor I danced with you under those florescent

N eon lights as you held me so close in your arms embrace

A wonderful evening a splendid affair

 

T ogether you and I made such a lovely pair

I  hugged you and kissed you for the very first time

M y heart beating faster than ever before

E ach time you asked me to dance
