I  hold special memories in each one

N ow that you are gone to heaven above

K eepsakes of you are all that I have left

E ach one represents a moment spent with you

T iny trinkets I hold so dear

S pecial memories in each one

Wonderfully written...warm and heartfelt.

I know how you felt when you wrote this piece. When my mother died; everything took on a different and more powerful meaning. I have this necklace that she gave me and it's so special because I begged her to wear it and she always said "no" until it was the senior prom. I felt so lucky on that day and after she died those pieces of metal were worth much more than the gold they were made out of.

Nice write.
