Starving Artist

Starving Artist

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

S tarving artist

T here never should be

A n artist without a home

R oaming the countryside all alone

V ery unfortunate that many an artist is starving

I  t's a shame for such talent to go unnoticed

N eedless to say, many great works come from our hardships

G ifted artists, painters, poets we come from all walks of life

A poet writes from his heart

R eaches beyond the stars with his words

T he painter colors a canvas with his brush and creates a masterpiece

I  mages on paper with pen and ink opens up a whole new world

S tarving artist

T here never should be

You always excel, when you are back to the wall. A deep expression, thats what an artist's intention.

Most often the most articulate, creative, and moving artists starve because there just isn't enough room in this boxed in world for their expressions.

Wonderful write!
