The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face

The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

The first time ever I saw your face

First glance into those daring eyes

Time stood still for the two of us

Ever since we the first time we kissed

I knew in my heart you were the one for me

Saw the look that you gave to me in return

Your tender smile said everything I wanted to hear

Face to face, you and I did gently embrace
