Black Clouds Rising

Black Clouds Rising

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa
"

(worried)

"

B lack clouds have covered my skies

L ike being in the eye of hurricane

A long and lonesome journey

C an't turn back now must forge on ahead

K eep battling my way out from under this storm

C an't seem to see through the pain

L et it rain! Let it rain! Let it rain!

O ut from under a broken

U mbrella I shall remain

D ark skies are all that my eyes can see

S omehow I must trudge on through these murky waters

R oll out the thunder and the lightning

I  can't hardly breathe I feel as though I am

S uffocating with each breath that I take

I  am overwhelmed by my troubles and woes

N othing seems the way it should be

G hosts from the past are haunting me

As always the form and flow are really nice in this. I like the part about the broken umbrella. The sun just never seems to come out soon enough...
