Just Nonsense

Just Nonsense

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

need to get off the net for a while

find a new writing style

the old fashioned

pencil or pen

like way back when

maybe i'm just ranting again

i use to write for hours leisurely

don't know what happened to me

guess typing made it too damn easy

maybe it's like riding a bicycle

need to keep my writing skills in balance

because here i go once again

falling off the deep end

not making any sense

trudging on

through another affair

with writer's block...

We are poets, we will never stay happy with what is in our hands. I can relate to each and every word of your poem. Just the other day I was going to go to the coffee shop to write. There was a time when I would take a pad and pencil and be off. As it was, I found myself packing a bag as if heading off for a week.

I love the point of it!
