  4. learned to waterski
  5. had 4 babies
  6. finished highschool at 33
  7. finished techschool at 35
  8. married twice
  9. finished alcohol rehab program at 43
  10. became a grandmother of 7 so far
  11. learned to swim
  12. learned to draw
  13. learned to decorate a cake
  14. learned to sing karaoke without stagefright
  15. learned to work a computer
  16. learned to prepare for a funeral if need be
  17. learned to walk
  18. learned to talk
  19. learned to crawl
  20. learned to pay the bills
  21. i babysit that's an accomplishment
  22. learned how to dive off a diving board
  23. learned how to take a bus across town
  24. learned how to follow a map
  25. raised dogs and cats
  26. raised a family
  27. won a poetry contest or two
  28. won a be kind to animals poster contest once
  29. had a science project exhibited at a science expo
  30. worked as a grill cook
  31. worked as a janitor's aide
  32. worked as a recreational aide
  33. worked as a registered enumerator
  34. worked as a folder/sorter
  35. finished one semester of college
  36. got a divorce
  37. became a survivor of domestic abuse
  38. worked as a dishwasher
  39. worked as a seamstress
  40. learned to dance
  41. planted and maintained a garden
  42. learned to cut the grass
  43. learned to keep the laundry done
  44. learned how to weave dream catchers
  45. learned how to make a quilt
  46. worked as an office aide
  47. learned how to rollerskate
  48. learned how to french braid my own hair
  49. learned how to put my hair up into a french twist
  50. learned how to ride a bicycle

These are fifty things that I have accomplished. (written for a contest)

Now this is nice! I particularly like the sequence of lines 17 though 19. You learned to crawl later? Wow! Beautifully written right there!

With that, I am reminded of the following lyrics to an old song that was written by Mark Sandman for "Good" - and album by Morphine:

Listen young people I'm 74
And I plan to live 60 or 70 more
I've been all around I've done a few things
And I spent a few nights on the floor

-- Do Not Go Quietly Unto Your Grave

I never thought about that, often we look back on the pains in our life. I'm sure this was a great exercise for you. I'm try and see if I can come up with 50 accomplishments. Maybe 5 LOL.
