Wishing you were here!

Wishing you were here!

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

W ishing you were here

I  know it's quite impossible

S o I dream of you instead

H ow strange is that my dear

I t seems when I stop thinking about you

N ight falls and in my dreams you do appear

G oosebumps run up and down my spine

Y ou always made me feel that way

O n nights like this it was heavenly bliss

U nder the covers with you and your sweet kisses

W ishing you were here

E verything would be alright

R eaching out into the darkness I find myself alone

E very inch of me still wanting you for my very own

H oping you might feel the same

E very night I call out your name

R eturn my love I'll be waiting for you

E very night and every day I wish that you were here
