S ometimes it gets lonely searching for your

O ne and only when you haven't the slightest clue

M eantime you wonder is he looking for you too

E verybody needs somebody to love

T o hold in the middle of the night

I  wish you were here by my side

M aybe he'll come back to me I tell myself

E lse I die of a broken heart

S ometimes it gets lonely searching for your one and only

 

I look for you sometimes on the internet

T here are just too many who bear your same name

 

G ot to get you out of my head somehow

E lse I drive myself insane these days just missing you

T oo much time has gone by and I've cried too many tears

S ometimes it gets lonely searching for your one and only

 

L onging for you

O ver the years
N ot knowing if you are okay

E verybody needs somebody to love

L onliness seems to be my doom

WOW Debileah, this is a great Acoustic poem. I can totally relate to it. Yes it does get extremely lonely looking for that right person for you, your soul mate. You often wonder at times if they truly exist. This is an excellent poem. Thank you for sharing it. You have a great talent with the pen. Keep up the good work.
