Lonely

Lonely

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa
"

(just random thoughts)

"

you were lonely

you had been drinking

i could tell right away

not just a one night stand

you said you came to make amends

for never calling me

i was lonely too

but i was sober

noticing you noticing me

just want to thank you

for coming around

it really means a lot to me

to know that you really care

about me

that you think about me

now and then

like i think about you

on a night like this

It is always nice to be thought of.

A good reflection of how lonliness can affect even those who prefer to be alone.
But a one night stand is not the best happening to cure lonliness.

Good luck in the contest

A love is always on the mind
There is one I still can't shake and we haven't talked
or laid eyes on each other in almost a year
I can relate
Well written

Sad little piece, but you managed to put your "random thoughts"
to good use. Liked this!
