For Old Times Sake

For Old Times Sake

A Story by Deborah Leah Krempa
"

(a dialogue between two people for a contest) (Can you distinguish between the two?)

"

"So how have your dreams been lately?

You see how mine have been..."

"I toss and I turn each night in my sleep thinking of you."

"So you think about me, and what are your thoughts?"

"I think about when we first met, and how we fell in love."

"Are you sorry for the way things turned out?

You know I miss you dearly..."

"I miss you too, and yes I am sorry, I wish we were still together."

"So why don't we try again, my long lost friend."

"That would be wonderful if we only could."

"Then lets have dinner tonight under soft music and candlelight."

"What do you say? Perhaps even if it's just for old times sake."

"My answer is yes, that would be nice let's call it a date."
