Butterflies Are Free

Butterflies Are Free

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

B utterflies are free

U nlike you and I

T hey sail on transparent wings

T he kind that angels wear

E nchantingly

R eflections on the waters of life

F or all the world to see

L ovely and precious

I  love to watch the butterflies in Spring

E legant beings

S o gentle as a breeze in Summer

A ll around me are butterflies

R each out and hold one in the palm of your hand

E ntertaining to me

F ree as a butterfly is what I'd like to be

R adiant in the sunshine

E xquisete tiny as a fairy

E xuberant with life

Such a carefree write, Debileah-as are butterflies. I was drawn to this write because I would have a butterfly farm if I could, but we don't have a large variety here and I am not sure why? Anyway, great job on this...

I do believe Exquisite is spelled with one "T." Just a small typo that you missed. Very elegantly done...

Hugs, Carole
