I'll always remember youA Poem by Deborah Leah KrempaI'll always remember the aroma of cedar, sweetgrass and sage When I think of you
I'll always remember the taste of frybread and with it buffalo stew
I'll always remember the touch of your hand ever so gentle around my waist
I'll always remember the times we shared together at our meeting place
I'll always remember the eagle as he soared across the sky
I'll always remember the swiftness of the deer as he passed us by
I'll always remember the sweetness of your kiss upon my lips
I'll always remember you in the spring with the budding of tulips
I'll always remember you
