Heart to Heart

Heart to Heart

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

I b***h a lot from this pain in my body makes me angry at the world especially the way I ended up in the bar life and choosing the wrong fork in the road. I was like you said they used to say in AA . HALT! I remember that.

Hungry
Angry
Lonely
& Tired

Hungry for a love I never knew.

Lonely forever and a day... an eternity of a soul left empty.

Running away from home. Almost losing my babies.

Lost in the shadows of a bruised and broken marriage

Only to find myself crying the saltiest of bittered tears of regret of people, places, and things to this day I cannot forget

So hard to forgive is the one who survived...
Me
Myself & I.

A lonesome road walking through the many tares in this garden...

A tale be told in poetry and prose of a wretched life. And I? I definitely own it.

Oh! My God
I am
so sorry,
so sad,
so empty
And yes,
so very, very, tired...
Goodnight, my friend.

You're a survivor! That's impressive and pretty much what we all want in the end. I'm
Happy you made it
