nothing to say

nothing to say

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

it's sad we have nothing to say

you and i

we use to have so much in common

it seemed

beer & tequila & quervo

together we would dance all night

beneath the neon lights

it's kinda strange

being here with you today

sober as a judge

and we are without words

it's so absurd

we use to be lovers

now we're just close friends

Is it human nature, or is it our times, or simply the length of time? Why do all of us, in varying degrees and speeds, lose that sparkle?
I read here a natural flow of thoughts written in a lovely poetic way. Thank you for sharing

Funny how time changes people and things. I love reading your work. Seems so effortless yet hits home every time.

without words??? That's terrible.
I was actually really getting into it.
Then you got tired or something and left me hanging.
Judge! yes! exactly! oh!
