There is no silver lining here

Only sadness my dear friend

Underneath this roof

you'll find many tears

that have been shed

and bled dry

Too much death, heartache and sorrow

Too many lost tomorrows

Too many crimson red roses

from funerals

have been placed upon

the old piano over there

Not enough sunlight to shine

onto brighter days

You'll find no silver lining here

Only sadness my dear friend
