A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

S he said "There's the door!"

H e said " Okay."

E xchanging glances as he grabbed his coat and left.

S he ran upstairs to her bedroom, lay her head on the satin pillow

A nd she cried tears of goodbye...

I  guess that's how it goes sometimes...

D ivorce hurts so deep inside.

T hey were so in love in the beginning

H oneymoon seemed to last forever

E very moment

R evolved around one another

E verything was so filled with the enchantment of romance

's pellbound lovers from their first dance

T hen something happened and a silence shook the room

H e just grabbed his coat and walked out the door

E verybody cries sometimes

D ivorce hurts so deep inside

O nly the strong survive

O nly the strong survive

R evolving doors...
