H e stands at my side always

E ach step of the way

 

S tands at the door

T o my heart

A nd beckons me to answer

N ever does he leave my side

D elivers me from temptations

A wonderful person is he

T eaches me to be kind and good

 

M akes me a mansion on top of a hill

Y ou know he loves me and he always will

 

S trength and honor he clothes me with these

I  shall follow him all the days of my life

D eny him not for he is my best friend

E very eye shall see him one day for he is our Lord and Jesus is his name
