Sometimes

Sometimes

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

Sometimes the pain is so deep you can't touch it

but it's there and it's real and it all that you can feel

Sometimes it's so deep you can't reach it just can't reach it

but it tears at your mind and it rips you apart on the inside

Sometimes it scars you and you can't even scratch it

but it surfaces and it surfaces until you scream out

Sometimes you want to talk about it to someone

but you know you just can't bring yourself to

Sometimes the scars out-weigh the pain

but then isn't that what scars do?

This really speaks well about the scars we have to endure that are more mental. We know their real but it's hard to explain because they are abstract.... It's like the glass ceiling. You can feel it but you can't see it.
