Spiraling Down

Spiraling Down

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

S piraling down to touch the ground

P retty snowflakes all around

I t's a cold wintry night

R elax by the fireplace

A  nite cap for two

L overs

I  n one another's arm we lie tonight

N ot a care in the world

G lory be it's just you and me

D esire by the flickering fire

O n a lovely quilt we kneel

W ith a passionate kiss

N ever knew such heavenly bliss

Such a tender piece. I can feel the coziness of the room, hear the fire crackling and the silence of the snow outside. Very good imagery. I loved it!

Wow! This is beautiful. I really love the way you write. The line stanzas, like your other poem Goodnight Cafe. Really creative.
