Cotton Candy Clouds

Cotton Candy Clouds

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

C otton candy clouds way up in the sky

O f dreams these are surely made

T wo lovers embrace on blanket under the sun

T wo lovers kiss and embrace

O n a lovely summer day

N ot a care in the world

C otton candy clouds way up in the sky

A  s evening draws near

N ot a single cloud disappears

D azzling the lovers below

Y ou and I

C otton candy clouds way up in the sky

L ingering by and by

O ur kisses soft underneath the moonlight

U nder the blanket you and I

D reaming of our desires and lighting a fire

S taring up at the cotton candy clouds way up in the sky
