Lonely nights

Lonely nights

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

T he pain of my lonely nights causes my

H eart to ache

E ven more than I can stand

P ain cuts deep into my soul

A s I lie here upon my bed

I n my lonely room

N o one to hold me

O r to give me comfort

F or the courage to go on

M y heart has been so broken and shattered

Y esterday has left me numb

L oneliness succumbs me

O ut of the darkness I hold these

N ightmares

E ven as I awake they play in my head as you

L ay in your coffin tonight

Y ou were the light of my world

N ow you are gone from me

I mages of you are all I have left

G ood bye it's so hard to say good bye to you

H eartbroken am I

T alking to your pillow as I cry tears that bleed

S carlet red teardrops from my broken heart
