Could I have this dance?

Could I have this dance?

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

C ould I have this dance

O h what a lovely evening to kick

U p our heels on this old wooden dance floor

L oving arms wait to hold you so near

D ance with me tonight my dear

I  just long to dance with you

H ave a sweet enchanting romance with you

A  n evening to remember as we glide across this old wooden floor

V ibrant rhythms to beautiful tunes as we waltz hand in hand

E ntertaining one another with exotic moves around and around we go

T ogether arm in arm

H and in hand

I  long to dance with you tonight across this old wooden floor

S o dance with me darling tonight under the stars and the moonlight

D ance with me tonight my darling

A cross this old wooden floor

N ear to me

C lose as can be

E ver more we shall dance across this old wooden floor
